About Meg

Meg has been studying play for over 20 years as a creator of spaces, performer, educator, and community outreach facilitator. She is certified in play therapy and has her Master’s in Design Studies: Design for Human Health from Boston Architectural College. Her thesis created a framework for families to integrate play in home through a developmental-based approach. The framework is a flexible evidence-based guide to help families understand how the built environment can encourage mental, physical, and social well-being at all ages and stages while accounting for the fact that each individual in the world has a unique sensory profile that impacts how they interact with their environment and others.

Connections Design: Spaces for Play & Wellbeing supports each person in maximum connection with themselves and others to create a rich, creative, and beautiful space for all family members. Meg has collaborated on design with children as young as four to ensure their perspective is integrated with parents.
